Caroline is one of the founder members of REP Consulting.  REP Consulting is a collaboration of three freelance funding consultants, and over the last 18 months has grown to working with nearly 50 projects across the North West region.

  • £904,300 Heritage Lottery Funding for Linacre Methodist Church in Litherland and £50,000 from Trusts and Foundations for Linacre Methodist Church
  • £207,652 for Reaching Communities for Wirral Mencap in Birkenhead
  • £376,420 Reaching Communities for Stick n’ Step Wallasey Wirral
  • £10,000 Awards for All for Iranian Cultural Society in Liverpool
  • £5,500 Awards for All for Chester and District Federation of the Blind
  • £10,000 Awards for All and £1,000 City Health Care Partnership Foundation awards for Wigan and Leigh Deaf Children’s Society
  • 2 Awards for All for Wirral Connect and its sister organisation CARSS in Knowsley for £8510 and £7690 respectively
  • £2500 from various Trusts and Foundations for New Brighton Community Centre. £10,000 Awards for All towards the costs of running their luncheon clubs
  • £475,812 Reaching Communities and £75,000 Lloyds Foundation INVEST Programme for Wirral Change BME

Current Work Programme Overview

Our work programme over the last six months to end 2017 has included:

  • 14 funding reports completed during 2017 to date with at least 3 organisations known to have gained funding as a result of our reports so far
  • Organisational Strength Review for Age UK Barrow to support Big Lottery’s Building Capabilities programme and the production of a Report
  • Monitoring and Evaluation Audit for Liverpool’s Bereavement Service
  • Writing a funding letter to develop the Parish Nurse programme in rural North Lancashire
  • Working with St. Aidan’s Primary School, St. Helens to develop funding bids for their Health and Wellbeing objectives, including a Daily Mile track and a Just Dig Garden to Kitchen project
  • Working with Liberty Farm CIC Stalybridge to develop funding bids for their Equestrian centre, specialising in equine therapies for people with physical and mental health problems
  • Developing funding bids to the value of £50,000 for the Iona Farley Passion Play, Wirral
  • Assisting Wirral Society for the Blind in their bid to Lloyds Foundation ENABLE Programme

Feedback from our Research

We have recently reviewed our success rates for grant making applications for our clients over the period 2016 to September 2017 (58 in total) and we have a success rate for funding applications of 60% compared to an industry average of between 25% and 40%.
